Merry Christmas!! I am so happy that for Christmas Santa brought our family together again!
About 5 years ago parts of our family stopped talking to each other which separated everyone at the holidays making it difficult for some of us to decide who's place to go to.
This year the family all got together again at my parents house and we had a great time! We didn't exchange presents with each other, just enjoyed dinner and drinks and good conversation. Oh and we made a new tradition of playing Holiday Lottery Tickets together..what fun!
We all sat at the table scratchin' our tickets together and shouting how much we won then we put it all together and turned them in for more tickets to scratch! Hahaha...this was the first time we ever did that. Usually, Christmas past we would have opened all kinds of presents in the living room, but this Christmas we all sat at the table and enjoyed each other's company :-)
What a Very Merry Christmas it was! I dream of the day when we all get together at Mike and My beach house to have Christmas at the Beach!

That's awesome. It's always so nice when old issues can be let go and families can move on and start reconnecting and making new memories. Relationships are the most important part of the holidays. You'll have your gathering at the beach. Freedom is good dream to have.
